This is the second MUST KNOW Verb. It is an IR ending, but like the last one, it is irregular, meaning the endings are different than they are for most endings. j' ai I have tu as You have il/elle a He/she has nous avons We have vous avez You(formal) have ils ont they have In french, to say, "I am hungry/thristy" you say, I have hunger, and I have thirst. As well as when stating how old you are, you say I have other than I am. I have 13 years. Not I am 13 years. | |
